• Account Credentials: Name, work email address, company name, encrypted password, and billing contact.
• Trade & Inventory Data: SKU numbers, product descriptions, component materials, country of origin, shipment declared values, and HTS codes.
• Technical Attachments: Spec sheets, bills of materials (BOM), CAD drawings, and test reports uploaded for classification reviews.
• Payment Information: All card processing is handled securely by Razorpay using PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure. CustomsWave does not store full credit card numbers or CVVs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process data solely to provide, enhance, and secure our trade services:

• To perform tariff calculations, Section 301/232 risk analysis, and landed cost estimations.
• To allow our licensed customs compliance specialists to review classification requests.
• To process subscription billing, issue invoices, and manage overage credits.
• To send critical regulatory updates, tariff changes, and system notifications.

4. Data Retention & Security Policy

We maintain high-standard security controls including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access control, and automated daily backups. Customer data is retained as long as your account remains active. Upon written request or account termination, data can be permanently deleted or exported in CSV/JSON format.
